Lois's Story

Well since May 24/1998 I have been a caregiver for my then 18 year old son.He was critcally injured with several injuries but the worse one being his Traumatic Brain Injury which has left him mentally and physically handicapped as well as emotionally. oy. Now everything was taken away in seconds. My life has changed very much also as being 24/7 with him most of time at home. Delaware doesn't have a whole lot of help for these people and do need a better program for them.He was away at one time but not a very good place and was not taken very good care of at that time.
