Life Well, here we go. After getting my diploma in July of my junior year, bet some of you thought I didn't graduate, I married Dave Rickert in Dec. '74 and we moved out to 160 acres in Manhattan Ill. Yes, we are still married after all these years, It's easy to do when you are married to your best friend. We had our first son Josh on Feb 4 '75, happy birthday Muck, and lived out there until '80. We then moved to Mokena and we had our second son Seth on Nov 27 '81. Then it was back to Oak Forest in '84 when we then bought Dave's parents house. Josh and Seth both went to Arbor Park and it's schools and they even had some of my old teachers. Boy was that weird. Then the boy's went on the good old Oak Forest High, and yes there were teachers there too that I had! Josh graduated there in '93 then went on to get a B.A. at Western Ill. U and M.B.A. at University of Alaska Fairbanks.. He now lives in Villa Park with his wife, Mary and they now have 2 boys, Ian James and Gavin Christopher. Yes I'm a Gramma and I love it! Seth graduated from high school in Olney and works at Prairie Farms Dairy. In Sept. of '98 we moved from the old neighborhood, had to get out of the rat race, and bought 50 acres in southeastern Ill. We have 20 acres of our land that is farmed in hay right now with parts of it in conse...Expand for more
