Life Looking back over the years for this 70 plus male is a wonder, did I do that in my life time? 1952 I graduated from Roy Miller High School, Corpus Chrisit, Texas. November 1953 in enlisted in the Air Force. I was stationed at Scott AFB, IL, Northwest River, Labrador, Bordeau, France, Bitburg, Germany, Riverside, CA. October 1957 I separated from the Air Force. January 1958 enrolled at Spartan School of Aeronautics, Tulsa, OK. Met Betty Ann Swadley. We were married March 20, 1959. Graduated July 1959 from Spartan. No job, January 1960 Betty and I moved to Tahlequah, OK and I enrolled in Northeastern State College. June, 1961 Betty enrolled in NSC and I joined an Air Force Active Reserve Unit. July, 1962 I graduated with a B.S. in Elementary Education. August, 1962 I started a proposed career of teaching, sixth grade, at Parkview Elementary, Amarillo, TX. October 1962 I was recalled to active duty, Air Force. January, 1963 found us stationed at McClelland AFB, CA. Todd Alan Carlton joined us March 29, 1963. January, 1964 I was sent to Saint Anthony, Newfoundland. Betty and Todd returned to Tahlequah, OK. Betty finished her studies at NSC. January 1965 as a family found us at MacDill AFB, FL.
