Lonnie's Story

After graduation from PVHS, started school at Diablo Valley Junior College. In 1978 transferred into UC Berkeley's School of Forestry where I started a Forest Engineering degree program shared between Berkeley and Davis. In 1979 transferred to UC Davis where I finished school in 1982 with a BS in Civil Engineering and Forest Engineering. a April 18, 1983. Once here I never looked back! I've been fortunate to have been to almost every corner of the state and worked in several different industries. Met my wife of 27 years ( this Dec 8!), adopted 3 children from Russia and currently live in the small coastal community of Seward, Alaska. I'm the Director for Expense Reduction Analysts in Alaska, part time instructor at Alaska's Vocational and Technical School, and President of the Seward Rotary Club.
