Lora's Story

Life My life - time flies doesn't it?! I was married in 91, had my girls in 92 & 96, divorced in 2001, remarried in 2004. I run from home to work and back home again. I feel like I stay busy, but to be honest - I live a boring kind of life and I like it!! I've traveled, I've met actors/actresses, been on tv, done things I shouldn't have, but nothing can beat being at home with my family. School School was good growing up, but I didn't really enjoy school until my senior year. I think it had to do with not having a boyfriend that actually went there. We as teens worried about what others thought about us, or making sure we had a boy/girl friend. I graduated CCHS and went to WV Tech with promises of becoming a dental hygenist. I made that choice so I could come back to Clay and work for RB, marry TG and all that jazz. Boy did things change! hat in highschool, if you knew my mom, you know why. This small fish jumped from the pond to the ocean and went crazy!! I loved it and regret it at the same time. Yanno what they say - hindsight being 20/20. Went to a travel/business school in Pittsburgh in 1990. Workplace My career choices have taken me down the road of finance. All this from a girl that detested math. I worked in a couple of different travel agencies from 90 - 2003. ITG Travel (family business) to Omega World Travel back to ITG Travel (ex hubby owned it) and then Navigant International Travel (now Carlson Wagonlit). I moved to the world of CRO's (INC Research) in 2003 and hope to stay in the business for quite a while. I started at the bottom of the totem pole and am now a supervisor of 5. My only regret is not having that college education. Now that I'm a parent and working full time the college dream is just that. Maybe when my girls have graduated, I will have the time to focus on me.
