Lorace's Story
Went straight into the USAF after graduation, spent 4 years in the service with assignments in Texas, Mississippi, California and Alaska. When discharged I went back to Caliifornia married my sweetheart and went to work for Bendix Field Engineering supporting NASA/JPL in deep space exploration and the moon landings. I was at work when Apollo 11 set down on the moon and had a front row seat. In 1973 I moved to Missippi where I went to work for Litton Industries...Expand for more
supporting major Naval shipbuilding programs at a local shipyard they had purchased. I have now been in this job albeit now with Northrop Grumman for 38 years. Plan to retire at the end of this year. My wife Kathy and I have 2 children, four grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. I have a lot of hobbies,"more than I can afford" so I will have to get more focused when I retire.
