Loren Lieberman:  

ave recently completed my my fourth opera, in Ancient Greek, "Οἰδίπους Τύραννος," (utilizing for libretto the complete play by Sophocles, in the original Greek). This work, and my third opera, «Раковый Корпус» (based on the book by Aleksander Solzhenitsyn, "Cancer Ward"), have both been artistic goals in my life for a long while, and their completion I consider to be important personal achievements. I have recently begun my text preparations for my fifth opera. My site at Soundclick is the most thorough, in terms of completeness and being up-to-date, regarding audio files which are made directly from my written scores. However, it is very difficult to navigate this site, and it is not very intuitive, as far as finding something. There are four pages of different aspects of my work. The page, "Loren Lieberman," embraces my whole career as a composer, with the exception of my operas (and opera related compositions) -- which are given their own page. I share my written work freely with those interested in obtaining my compositions, whether for performance, or study. I might mention here, that my scores use the Japanese name my mother, Masayo Yonemitsu, gave to me, in the hopes that someday I would write music. That is why my music scores give "Masaru Yonemitsu" as the composer.".
