Life After High School I went to College for a short time. Came back to Gilchrist and worked for R.D. at walker Range for the summer of 1981, being relief lookout. Alot of memories were made that year, good and bad. anyway, July of 1982 got married in Silver Lake, to my sweetie of 6 months. Moved to Adel, Or. (28 miles east of Lakeview) Delbert worked for a local rancher there. In February of 1984 we moved to Paisley, Or. worked for a rancher there also. Then Dec of that same year Delbert got a job with the Town of Lakeview, in the water, streets, and sewer department. He is still working for them at this time. I forgot to mention that while we were in Adel, Nov 30, 1983 our daughter, Lori was born. Then Aug. 29, 1986 we had a son, Nathan. While the kids were young, I was a stay at home mom. Did a few things here and there, nothing permanent. Had been Substituting for the school district for 10 years until the kids were older and I got a permanent job as head cook at Union School, on the westside. Did that for 10 years and now I'm working in Lakeview at the Elementary school. On July 14, 2008 Lori is starting a new job in Redmond, OR working for the Hospital there as an RN. Nathan is working at Lakeview Redi-mix plant. He and his wife of 3 years gave us our first grandchild, Rave...Expand for more
