Lorene's Story
Life
I have two boys Kristopher and Kevin. The both attended Beyer High School but they weren't lucky enough to attend the best high school in town!! They have both graduated from college. Kristopher my oldest is a substitue teacher in the bay area and does stand-up comedy. Kevin is working in San Diego and plays music in Coffee shops etc. Kevin has just applied for Graduate school at Sacramento State. We hope that he gets accepted so we can see him more often. I was married for 22 years to my first husband Ken. I've been married 6 years to my soul-mate and the love of my life Kirk. He is a manager for Target Corporation. We enjoy going to plays, concerts, baseball games and spending time with our extended families. We have one English Cocker and 2 cats that adopted us.

School
I enjoyed being in Marching Band and Pep Band during my 4 years of high school. It made me feel like I was helping support all the sports teams and the school spirit. Mr. Paul Copeland was a great band director.
Workplace
After high school I worked at Tillie Lewis during the summer. While attending Modesto Junior College I got a job at Sutter Gould Medical Foundation in the Medical Records department. Well I thought that would be a temporary job while going to college but my temporary job turned into 36 years. However I did work my way up to Supervisor of the Medical Records department but decided that wasn't what I wanted so I transferred to Human Resources and I just love my job. Hopefully, I will be able to retire in the next few years so I can do volunteer work.
