Loretta's Story

I guess life is what you make of it, and things are well with me. Live in North Carolina now, working for a Defense Contractor as the Contracts Manager. Been with them now for almost 10 years now. Married my best friend and enjoying our life together. No children but we do have 3 cats =) I enjoy travel when I can get away. Next trip most likely to New Zealand but that is still a year or more away. In high school I was the pretty girl with low self esteem. Hung out with the 'freaks' because they were all very nice and frien...Expand for more
dly people. Didn't like the popular crowd because there were snobby and looked down on others because they weren't good looking enough or looked 'weird' didn't wear the 'right' clothes or for no reason at all. I don't think we were 'freaks' at all, I think we were folks with gentle souls who couldn't stand the pettiness or meanness of others. Yeah we didn't 'fit in' but that is what made us unique individuals.\ All seems so silly now, the groups and the cliques. What a waste of time and energy putting labels on individuals.
