Loretta's Story
I was born and raised in San Antonio, I attended Beacon Hill Elem. then Mark Twain Middle School then off to Thomas A. Edison High School. San Antonio College. DIVORCE/ Worked for Boysville Shelter school for 6 yrs. then at Judson I.S.D. for another 5 yrs. My oldest son passed away of Leukemia, therefore I quit my job and took care of him for his last 1 1/2 yrs. of his beautiful life! No need to feel sorry for me, my faith got helped me through the unthinkable.. and has continued to help me cope each and every day plus I know we will reunite at a later time FOR SURE!
I currently work for a law firm... as their receptionist. (someone needs to keep them honest!) lol... SERIOUSLY, I do enjoy and love my job!
I Love all kinds of music... DANCE.. LAUGHTER and MUSIC is a big part of who I am!.
I see now that having a steady "boyfriend" while in high school sure did hold me back from ...Expand for more
making a lot more friends and getting more involved in school, those years I just can't get back !! So kinda regret that, so I'm glad my kidos did not take after MOM ... they were very active in school and so very popular!! PROUD MOMMA HERE =D
I spend a lot of time w/family, recently discovered I "really can" exercise /work out and ENJOY IT!! So, now I'm eating healthier and feeling better than ever, plus need to keep up w/my active grandsons!
I participate/help out in most Leukemia and Autistic fund raisers-
One of my favorite quotes is:"TEARS ARE NOT A SHOW OF WEAKNESS..TEARS ARE WORDS THE HEART CAN'T EXPRESS!!".
I thank God every morning ..."Love your faith-yourself,family and friends! Be true, be kind, respect others and envy no one! I try to make each day count as we just don't know when it's your last!
