Judy Arras:  

Life Judith Ann Arras passed away Thursday, June 3, 2004, after a brief battle with Pancreatic Cancer, at the age of 63. Judy was born January 22, 1941 in Converse, Louisiana, to Andrew Wesley and Erma Lee Pennington. She married the love of her life, Bob Arras, in February, 1959. Judy was a very caring and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, friend to many, and a great lover of animals, especially her shadow ‘Annie’. Growing up, Judy spent most of her childhood years in Refugio, TX and was a 1959 graduate of Refugio High School. It was there that she met Bob, who was stationed in Beeville. Being a Navy wife, she had the privilege of traveling the world and residing in such places as the Philippines and Guam and has been a resident of Corpus Christi for the past 34 years. She is a former Executive Secretary of Padre Isles Investment Corporation and has spent the last 18 years working for Civil Service as the C-Flight Secretary for the Air Force Recruiting Office here in Corpus Christi. She was a recipient of many civilian awards through the Air Force and was highly respected for her professionalism by her colleagues. Judy was an avid reader, loved to travel and enjoyed going to auctions with Bob. She loved spending time with family and especially her husband. He was her life and she is his.
