Lori's Story
Life
I was married in 1979 to Mike Feltner, whom I met graduating high school. In 1992, we adopted our beautiful daughter at birth, and brought her home with us when she was 4 days old. Rachel is now 16 and a junior at Stebbins High School. Her dad and I separated in 2001 (and divorced), and I married Terry Osborne in 2002, who is the love of my life. Rachel is in the honors program at Stebbins and on the fast track to college, with a GPA so far of 4.4. She will be taking Advanced Placement courses soon, which could raise her GPA to a 5.0!!! She is my pride and joy. She is also in the color guard/marching band and several other school groups, in addition to an active participant in teen summits through the Dayton chapter of the National Conference for Community & Justice.

ught a home in the Belmont/Walnut Hills area so that Rachel could live with us on weekends and we would be closer to her schoolt hat way.
I am working for the Public Works department of the City of Trotwood, and have done secretarial work since high school.
Probably everyone who remembers me and knew me well knows who my biggest crush in high school was -- Mike Bailey. He was also one of my dearest friends and in some way helped me to be a better person. I miss him tremendously.
Mr. Kuehn (American Lit) was my favorite teacher and encouraged me to continue writing poetry. I have written some song lyrics -- some with my current husband -- and still hope to actually have a song recorded by someone famous!
If I could do high school all over again -- well, I wouldn't want to -- but if I could, gosh I wish I could be then who I am now!
