Lori's Story
After graduating, I was accepted into the Ukrainian Shumka Dancers where I was a member from 1976-1984. In 1977 I was performing & touring Japan & Hawaii for 35 days. I was in Hong Kong for 14 days performing for their New Year's festivities in 1983. and US Presidents. I also taught Ukrainian dancing for 5 yrs while attending college. I graduated from Grant MacEwan in 1980 with a General Administration Diploma. I married Perry Ruptash in 1985, we had three children, Todd, Scott & Nikki. Unfortunately I lost Perry in a car accident 14 yrs ago. I've been raising my kids on my own; they are now 26,22,21. The joys of my life.
