Lori's Story
Life
I work as a director in a school district and have an opportunity to work with lots of students which I LOVE! My daughter has given me two grandchildren a girl and boy and my son has a wonderful little boy. I LOVE being a grandma and still feeling good and having fun. I have met incredible people and done amazing things in my life and it really does get better every day.
I do a lot of volunteer work, fund raisers and community service. Love spending time with friends, some who I have been friends with since elementary school (DuVall). Jr. High (Edison) and High school. I remember some REALLY wonderful people in high school that are too many to name, just great people. Please don't be offended if I don't remember you a lot has happened in my life, although I am one person who can say "I did NOT do a lot of drugs in the 60's. Or, actually any decade. LOL I have lived in California, Oklahoma, Mississippi and Michigan and hope to make it back to Southern California some day to live for at least January, February and March. Pacific Coast Highway and the Santa Monica mountains are the most beautiful places on earth to me. I travel there as often as I can and fall more in love with it after every trip.
I would love to connect with new (old) friends and have already done so with several peopl...Expand for more
e, it's really fun to get together and catch up...... there are a lot of years to catch up on!
I'm on facebook, (of course!) so check me out and I will add you as a friend and thanks to everyone who has left messages it has been wonderful to hear from you all!
I have run my own catering/event planning business. I plan to continue working and doing what I do, only better in the future. Single again (by choice!), not here for dating, but would love to hang out with new or old friends. I can always find time for great people in my life.
My Mom is in a nursing care facility right now and that presents all the challenges of a parent with dementia. I am the only one left in Michigan so I spend time with her on a daily basis. Love being with my family, my kids and grandkids are amazing and the happiest part of my life.
A glass of Merlot, good movie, yoga, having fun with friends or taking my grandkids to new and fun places are my favorite things to do.
It's amusing that life really does come down to what "they" always told you it would. Family, close friends, health and living (enjoying) every moment. If you want to contact me, feel free, lots of people have and it is really fun to hear from former classmates. If you took the time to read this I hope your life is amazing and thanks for stopping by!
