rk for the state of New Mexico, for an agency that serves individuals with developmental disabilities. I have a HUGE caseload, but it's some of the most rewarding work I've ever done. In my spare time, my better half and I volunteer for the Interfaith Hospitality Network, helping homeless families.
I'm in a long term relationship, but not married. No kids of my own. My partner has a son from a previous marriage.
As fast paced and high pressure as my job is, the rest of my life is deliberately simple and low key. Study (both required and recreational). Worship. Art (photography, music, crafts, fiber art). Cooking (esp. exotic cuisines). Looking after the critters.
Deliberately simple. Vastly fulfilling.
