Lori's Story
Hi Schoolmates, For those of you who may remember me , I left Winnipeg in 1995 with my sister Joni. We moved out to Vancouver B.C. We both got jobs right away and began a new life. We had alot of fun together over the years, we even bought a brand new condo together in 1997. Boyfriends came and went and suprisingly we met our husbands to be, in 2003. We both got married in a double ceremony April 2005 in Las Vegas. We married a couple of born and raised B.C. Boys. I was a Sales Representative for the Quaker Oats Company and then for Sun Rype Products based out of Kelowna covering the metro Vancouver area. My Husband and I were blessed with our first baby in March 2006. We named him Taron, which means "Earthman". What can I say I'm a late bloomer!!! We now reside in Chilliwack, B.C. My sister Joni and her husband had their first baby ( a girl ) named Skylar on August 5, 2009.
My son, Taron is 8 yrs old now and just finishing grade 2 (June 2014) and I have been working for Ford in Chilliwack for just over 2 yrs. Chilliwack is such a beautiful place to live. Time sure flys when your having fun.

illiwack Ford to take the summer off with my 10 yr old son, Taron. I'm really looking forward to this because soon he won't want to spend time with his Mom! We are going to camp in the motorhome and do whatever we feel like. We love Monck Provincial park just outside of Merritt on Nicola Lake. It's absolutely beautiful there. My poor husband will have to keep working until his holidays come around.
July 2016 going over to Calgary for a week to visit Royal Tyrell dinosaur museum with the kids and to the Calgary zoo. Taking Joni, my niece, Skylar (almost 7 yrs old now) and Taron in the car and hubby riding his motorcycle ! Really looking forward to it!
It’s May 2018, and my son is now 12 yrs old and finishing grade 6. I’m working part time, which is nice, so I can be around for my boy.
Bought a new Motorhome last June, a nice 30’ class c Bigfoot. I still drive and hubby rides his motorcycle. We have the whole summer booked for camping and our end of summer trip to Silverwood Theme Park in Idaho. It’s become a tradition every year.
Well, crap I became a widow in November 2020. You never know what life will throw at you.
