Lori's Story
Education:
I obtained my B.S. in Management from SUNY Binghamton, completing a three year program in 2 ½ years and graduating Magna Cum Laude. I obtained my J.D. from the University of Miami where I served on the Law Review, completed an internship for Judge William Hoeveler and graduated cum laude.
Employment:
I began my law career at Holland & Knight, where I was ultimately promoted to partner. I also worked as associate general counsel for Turnberry Associates and last as a partner with Saul Ewing Arnstein & Lehr. I am currently retired.
Community Service:
I am the founding president of CREW Fort Lauderdale/Boca Raton and a past president of CREW Miami.
I have served as pro bono counsel to Slow Burn Theatre Company, as a trustee for the Council for Educational Change, as a member of the Florida Grand Opera Leadership Council, as chairperson of various sports challenges and walks on behalf of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, as a board member of my homeowners association, as a trustee of the Fort Lauderdale Museum of Art and as a fundraiser for Dartmouth College Cys...Expand for more

I was recognized by Real Estate Forum as a Woman of Influence in Commercial Real Estate, by Bisnow as a South Florida Power Woman, by the South Florida Business Journal as an Influential Business Woman, by The Real Deal as a Woman Making Waves in Miami Commercial Real Estate, by the Florida Real Estate Journal as a Top Woman in Florida Commercial Real Estate, by JC Penney as a Golden Rule Award winner, by CREW Fort Lauderdale/Boca Raton as a Lifetime Achievement Award winner, by the National Women Business Owners as a Vision in Service to Associations Award winner, and by the Daily Business Review as a South Florida Woman in Law honoree, a Top Dealmaker of the Year in Real Estate Finance and a Best Mentor. The organization which I founded, CREW Fort Lauderdale/Boca Raton, established the “Lori Hartglass Award” named in my honor to be given to members who provide extraordinary service to the chapter. I was selected as a community hero to run with the Olympic torch along A1A in Hollywood, Florida in the 1996 Olympic Torch Relay.
