Hello everyone, First, a quick note to let you know that I don't log into Classmates often -- in fact, I'm updating this in January 2008 after a three-year absence from the site... Well, the years have passed quickly, but they've been rich, as I hope they have for you. I'm a writer, and I published my first book, "Ribbons of Highway: A Mother-Child Journey Across America," in 2004. I'd spent 25 years traveling the globe, but after September 11, I realized I'd never truly explored my own country. So, my kids and I took a 12,000-mile back road journey into the heart of America, embracing it as it embraced us. "Ribbons" is the book that grew from our odyssey. My husband, Mike (Belanger), and I have two children. Adam's a college freshman and our daughter, Dana, is in high school. Both are wonderful, vibrant people.
