Lori's Story
Life
After graduating from MHS in 1990 I attended Milligan College (private liberal arts college) in northeast Tennesee on a volleyball scholarship. I met and began dating my furture husband, Ryan, in October of that year. We were married in the middle of my junior year (January, 1993) at University Christian Church where my dad was senior minister. We moved to Ashville, Ohio (just south of Columbus) where Ryan was the senor minister of a small church just outside of town. erb of Akron, Ohio called Barberton where our next two children came into the picture. Our second son, Jordan, was born in February of 2000 and our third son, Cole, was born in September of 2002. Ryan served as senior minister of a Christian church there until December of this past year. My dad announced his intention to retire as senior minister of University Christian Church (across from Taco Hut...may it rest in peace) last year and through a series of events which can only be described as miraculous...Ryan ended up taking over his position. WE moved back here to Manhattan at the beginning of this year. A little weird to be back....but its good.
