Lori's Story
Graduation 1972, move to Palm Beach County FL 1973, fell in lo poolve with Florida. Went into health care. Married Keith Knight 11-29-75, he's a 3rd generation Floridian. We have 3 kids, Irish triplets, two granddaughters. Keith retired after 30 years Palm Beach County Fire Rescue. I retired as well in 2008. Brought Keith to Illinois twice, 1978 for my grandma's funeral, once in 1996 so everyone could experience snow. They LOVED it, I watched them from the front porch, they rolled in the snow made their first snowman.
Hurricane Matthew spared Palm Beach County FL, only to hit St. Augustine and Jacksonville. I'll take hurricanes over tornadoes any time.
If you want to grow flowers, orchids, oranges, etc. Florida is the best place for a gardener. The purple orchid was almost killed in 2004 hurricanes, 12 years later it bloomed

APRIL 2020
I have been house bound since 3-5-20, as Keith and I decided he would do the outside shopping and I stay out of the stores. Since 3-5, I have driven to our son Kris' home or drop Mike off at 7 11. If I didn't care for our newest grandson, Ryder, I could leave the property.
Hoping the families and loved ones in your life remain healthy. This too shall pass. LYMTS
