Lori's Story

Moved from Colorado to Scottsdale, Arizona with my parents and siblings shortly after my graduation. I was still partially paralyzed from a car accident in March of my Senior year. I continued physical therapy in Arizona and began walking without aid. I married my first husband at age 20 and had my first daughter at age 23. I started working for the Arizona court system in 1979 and have worked in the courts in various positions for the past 40 years. I plan to retire in 3 - 4 years. I was divorced in 1986 and married my present (and last) husband - Darrell in 1988. cident) I had my second daughter in 1989. My husband also brought a son to our marriage, so I have 3 kids and 4 grandkids. My husband has family in and grew up in Eagle, Colorado, so we have been returning to Colo. once or twice per year for the past 30 years. I have just now worked up the courage to attempt attending a class reunion. I am not big on social media & have not kept in touch, but would like to reconnect with any that may remember me. I may not remember much about others from my class, as I suffered a brain stem contusion (from the accident) and lost much of my short term memory from high school. This is scary, but I am looking forward to meeting some of my classmates.
