Lori's Story
I have recently moved back to Southeast Iowa and currently live on a farm north of Mediapolis. My family has lived here for 4 years and Joan Beckman Cling is my neighbor. Before that, we lived 12 years in Twin Cities, 1 yr in Tampa, FL and 6 years in Los Angeles. I met my husband in LA and we have 2 children. Our daughter, Taylor, is 19 and a junior at Simpson College near Des Moines. Our son, Brody, is 14 and a freshman at Mediapolis High School. out the U.S. I was recently the General Manager at the new Comfort Suites Hotel & Conference Center in Burlington. In 2008, I went back to finish my college degree in Business Administration - Management at Iowa Wesleyan. I hope I graduate before my daughter does! My husband, Terry Reis, is a Certified Executive Chef and has worked at hotels, resorts and clubs throughout his career. He bought a restaurant and is now Chef/Owner. We also farm a few hundred acres too! My brother, Doug, lives 5 miles away. It's nice to come back home and be close to family!!!!
