Lori's Story
A lot has changed in the past 6 months. I've gone from a beer chugging, life of the party, let's play volleyball 5 nights a week to "a mom". Not to belittle that title, it's hard work. In fact, it's the most difficult thing I've ever had to do in my life and I can't believe it's only been 6 months! SO many things to worry about now being a first time mom, but I'm learning.
I've been married now for almost 3 years. I met Brad about 4 months after I moved to Chicago in 2001. Met him at volleyball of course. He is an only child, and is very quiet. I'm sure it was a bit of a culture shock coming into the Gill family with 4 other siblings to contend with and then add in the 12 newly acquired nieces and nephews. He's done a great job at adjusting though, I have to give him some credit.

w. I did leave for a year and a half to try out Property Management for 6 commercial office buildings located around O'Hare. THAT was stressful. I found my way back to Intuit, and now work from home managing a select group of clients.
I kind of regret not having gone to the high school reunion we had. I saw the pictures, and it looked like everyone had a lot of fun. Being that I haven't really seen anyone in YEARS, it is really strange to see everyone "all grown up". Some look so different, and some never seem to change. Doesn't seem like that many years have passed. I always have this picture in my head of what everyone use to look like, and it comes as somewhat of a shock when I see a picture of them now and realize how long ago that actually was. Maybe someday I will see everyone again and can catch up on the years that have passed.
