I cherish my memories from high school. I had so many good friends, some of which I wished I listened to but didn't. I ended up marrying and having a child right out of high school. We had 2 children (Nathan Thomas '80 & Audi Lynn '83). Unfortunately, our marriage didn't work for many reasons. I married my 2nd husband in '87. We had one child (Jonathan Edward '90). Similar to the first marriage this marriage ended as well. Devistated and confused why I ended up with the type of individuals I did, I sought help and guidance. I remained single for many years -- with the fear of meeting someone like them again. During one of my many sleepless nights, I saw an ad for singles, I was nudged inside to sign up. I'll never forget how I felt -- scared and telling God -- no way -- I can't do this -- and almost audibily hearing -- trust me. So I did it, and being completely brave in saying what I truly want and DON'T want and knowing that they couldn't get my personal information, felt safe. Well beyond my expectation, my current husband was one of the 1st to leave me a note. I had a couple whom I trusted immensely to screen my calls/notes. Through a private and secure line I contacted 2 of them. The one that I thought sound more like what I was looking for ended up being the one the couple liked. Believe me it wasn't easy for him... I had many doubts due to my other failed marriages and the fear of him changing into Mr. Hyde, so to speak. He told me that he knew once we spoke that I was going to be his wife. I thought... "oh yea...!!! What makes you so sure... I don't even know if I really like you!" That didn't matter, he stuck around -- asked my father's persmission for my hand in marriage -- which met very well with my father. Both my parents fell in love with him. In '97 I became his wife.
