Lorie's Story
Life
I'll keep this short so I don't put you to sleep :) After high school, I went to UW-Eau Claire for two years (you know, to do the right thing; nursing, teaching, sorry BORING) so after my 2nd year I got antsy. I was offered a job in Cal. and it was a no brainer...I got on the first plane and headed for Palm Springs and finished school out there...The next ten years were spent in Cal. Was pretty exciting but...I got pretty lonely for my family so in 1989 I grabbed a ride back home. I stayed in Wisconsin for 3 years but the winters got the best of me and I moved to Fort Lauderdale, Fl. (which is where I am now) Being such a Sports fanatic I began w...Expand for more
orking at arenas and stadiums, with two Superbowls and the'96 Olympics under my belt it became an awesome career. I am now the "Concessions Manager" for Pro-Player Stadium in Miami (Miami Dolphins & Florida Marlins) I also work with the Florida Panthers and the Miami Hurricanes.
It's a great job, always exciting. Don't get me wrong, my heart will always be with the "PACKERS" I will always be a Cheesehead and I let everyone know it!!! I am still single, I have two wonderful rottweilers that keep me busy (that and working 24/7) If ever in Florida, look me up and say "hi"
