Lorinda's Story
I do have a huge regret:
I wish I had of raised my children in Ontario and just stayed there!
After High School I went to BYU and was on their womens swim team and track and field team.
during the summers I coached age group swimming in Treasure Valley as well as coached swimming also in California and Hawaii.
I married a military guy and we moved many many many places. We were married 12 years and moved 36 times in those 12 years. We had three children. While single I went back to school and worked on an RN degree but it was taking to long, so I went to Massage Therapy School in Utah and became an LMT. Did that for 15 years until the elbows, fingers and thumbs wore out.
I married Shane Luck in 1997, it has been a wonderful marriage, I am quite "Lucky!"
We now live in gilbert, AZ and are helping care for our grandchildren, care for Maxine and have a little sewing business (or hobby) and we make and sell extreme weather clothing out of Open Cell Foam. It keeps us busy!
We endured the Phoenix heat this summer and are looking forward to LOVING the Phoenix winter!
Wish we could have gone to the Class of 69 reunion!

y I'm better with Facebook. Please check there and lets get OHS grads on the friends lists!
I'm Lorinda Baker Luck and I've seen others like Connie Bennett, Dixie, Laura Jo, Verna,Dot Veristain, Janet Fezette,Leone Frazer, Don Takami and hoping for more ..but FaceBook is kind of fun and for me easier than this site.....
This system won't let me put an email address but I will try and work around it. Please try to contact me and we can visit that way: foamclothingsystemsATgmailDOTcom
So far this is the only place I've found to be able to type anything.. Aren't
computers amazing! Remember Mrs Sheldon when she got all excited about 1984 and how sinister that was.......I still have such a picture in my head of her rubbing her hands together and all of us thinking....sure 1984....to far away!! Well now that date has come and gone and so have a few of our classmates, but many of us here will still be around in another 30 years!!
Hail Alma Mater
Hat's off to you
Ever you'll find us
Loyal and true
Firm and Undaunted
Ever we'll be
Here's to the School we Love
"Here's a toast to Thee!"
wow, didn't know I still had that roaming around in my head!!
Hope to see you on FaceBook!
