Lorraine's Story
Life
Had a great High School experience and built a strong moral and education foundation for my life. Twenty years in Navy, helped me grow up into the person I am now. Great duty stations and even greater lifelong friends. Retired to Poconos twenty years ago and am living a quiet peaceful life I love.
College
Two years at Marquette while in Navy. Spent many hours at the NESEP Unit in the basement of the gym while Al McGuire drilled his basketball team. Went back to active duty...Expand for more
for another 14 years retired as CPO. Two years at ESU after retiring from Navy, received BA in Soc/Anth. Spent very little time doing social things in school studied the first two years and worked full time the second two years.
Military
Spent 9 years in Tradevman rating served in Newport and Pensacola. Then eleven years as Personnelman, serving in Philly, DC (2X) and Hawaii. REtired as PNC in '83. Now live peacefully in the Poconos. Would love to hear from any old 'shipmates'.
