Lou's Story
Well here I am retired and not really enjoying it. I guess it is the downturn of life when you start to get old. My children are grown and gone now, I am not rich by any means but I have made enough to live for a few years. My wife spend much of our time in Eastern Tennessee in the Smokie Mountains living in our second home a log cabin. We still have not gone far from home we have to take care of my mother and will not leave here. She lives by her Kentucky heritage and will not come and live with us. l pinches every penny but has a good life and wants nothing. I am not the same person that most of you remember I have set down and made a good life. I am a retired firefighter and Sargent from the U.S. Army. I went on and retired early from being a Journeymen Tool and Die maker. Today I set in front of the computer and play and think of thing to do, ( boring isn`t it ). Well I hope everyone that shared my early life has done well for themself, I think and wonder sometimes how all of you have been. Thanks one and all for the memories you are great people and remember to smile, it is easier than you think.
