Life
Hi, I attended Spfld High 1952-1954,(was known then as Louaina Jones) and went on to California and eventually graduated from Orofino (Idaho). I married Doug DeWalt in Orofino (he was from Wisconsin). We Lived in Idaho until 1974 when we went to Africa for a mission call and managed to stay 10 years! 3 kids, 4 grand-kids & 1 great granddaughter later, I am living in a small town in WI, I am an Administrative Asst. in a Federal Office for the last 21 years. My husband of 47 yrs passed away 2 years ago (cancer) and I am now trying to downsize, eventually sell my home and decide where t...Expand for more
o retire. I love my job so I am not in a hurry. My father is still living in Springfield so I get out there once in awhile. I have lots of family in the area yet. My spare time is spent working on fund raisers and and I am chairperson of our church's Outreach Board, so missions are my first love. Africa taught me a great deal, and I respect the teams still out there. I would still like to go back, but do not know if that will happen now. I love to travel, and go somewhere any chance I get, though my job keeps me grounded more than I would like. I love people, places, and challenges!
