Louanne's Story
Life
My name is Louanne Sosnicki and I am 50 years old and I live in MA.
I am a Pharmacist and have worked in this field for almost 15 years, four as a Pharmacist. I have a Bachelor's degree from Northeastern University in Pharmacy. I recently left retail pharmacy after spending my entire career in that area. I am now working for the U.S. Department of Labor, Employment and Training Division as a Pharmacy Technician Vocational Instructor for Westover Job Corps. I work with inner city and low-income youth to help to provide them with the job training and employability skills to obtain a position as a Pharmacy Technician. I motivate, counsel and prepare them for a National Certification exam. This career was an interesting change for me within my field. I also have a Master’s degree in Autism from Elms College in Chicopee.
I am married to Tom whom is a Police officer in the town where we reside. We own 2 duplexes beside...Expand for more
s our own home, so we are small level landlords. I do not like being a landlord, my husband considers this an investment and intends to do well on the sale of these homes at some point.
Both Tom and I have never been married before. This was our first marriage. We do not have children and do not plan to have any. We live with our cat POOH and a tortoise.
I enjoy my present career more than anything I have ever done. My students have become my children. I am sad sometimes to see where some of my students have come from and that I was very fortunate to have the parents I have.
I am currently living in Wilbraham and I am the happiest I have ever been in my life. It took a long time to get to this place and I have no regrets! I think back to my high school years and I cannot believe how much has changed for me. I am sure it has for many of you also. I can be emailed any time. I hope everyone is happy and healthy also.
