Louie's Story
After the RLT experience I went off to Texas A&M and eventually graduated in '76...had an interuption courtesy of Richard Nixon and the draft lottery...was one of the last people ever drafted in Oct of '72 before the whole draft disappeared the following month...
After A&M I started my career in Baton Rouge in '77,between '78 and '82 I moved to Tuscaloosa, Al., then Vickburg, Miss. then Hattiesburg, Miss. before going back to Baton Rouge for 4 years, followed by 4 years in OKC..my last move was 20 years ago to St Joseph, Mo...which, strangely enough, has become home..not a bad place, about 40 miles north of KC and aside from occassionally sucky winter weather, I like it..
Have spent my entire career in the electrical equipment business...chose it because I wanted something technically challenging but still lots of people interaction and that has worked out great..

bout 40% of my time and that's a good thing...keeps me from growing stale sitting in an office..
Along the way in my travels I acquired ( and divorced ) a wife and had two sons, now 25 and 28, one living in LA and the other in SF...no grand kids that I know of..I remarried almost 2 years ago and now have 3 HS age step kids..am lucky they are good youngsters...
My hobby/recreational passion is golf..built a home two years ago directly across the street from a golf course and that is very convenient..
Have had a chance to see a lot of the U.S. and a few foreign places..Spain, Australia, New Zealand, Jamaica, Cabo, Cancun, Victoria B.C., Bahamas..but want to and plan to see a lot more...
I went to our 20th, 25th and 30th reunions but decided that was enough because I don't want to be reminded of how darn old I have gotten by seeing how old my classmates (and I) look...
