Louine Sternickle:  

I left McHenry during Junior year, to live with my Aunt (mother¿s sister) in Minneapolis. It was fun to know that my mother had walked those same hallways. After graduating from West High in 1972, I attended Anoka TEC (Now Anoka Hennepin Area Vocational Technical Institute, where I completed a one year certification course in International Trade. After Graduation, I got a job with an exporter in Mount Prospect. Within a year, I was offered a job in the export department of Oak Industries in Crystal Lake. I stayed there for a couple years. When laid off, I went to work for my Dad¿s company McHenry Electric & Supply. In 1997 we sold the company to Dreisilker Electric Motors but I continue to work there. On the personal side of things, after returning to McHenry, I became active in Square Dancing, American Business Women and Lake County Singles Club.
