**Greatest Adventures (so far):
++ 2 years McMurdo-Station Antarctica, "Operation Deep-Freeze" (Naval Support-Force Antarctica). Lou made it to, stood over, touched, and ran around, The **South-Pole**! Left "The *ICE*" by taking the Coast Guard's largest ice-breaker, the 400 ft "Polar-Star", a 10 day journey to Australia. Spent 6 weeks treking across Australia, (9 days on the "Great Barrier Reef"), and then another 6 weeks backpacking and hiking through New Zealand's National Parks...
++ U. S. Olympic Trials: After volunteering for the "New York Road Runners" for many years, Lou was rewarde...Expand for more
d by being one of only a few select officials invited to work the "United States Olympic Trials - Men's Marathon", being hosted in New York City, on Nov 3, 2007. Lou was In Charge of a Team of 20 Course Marshals. Their Responsibility: Athlete's Safety & Security along the course in Central Park, from West 70th St through West 75th St. The Athletes competing for the three top positions on the U. S. Olympic Team ran through this section four times before finishing at "Tavern on the Green".
++ Certified Member PSIA (Professional Ski Instructors of America). Eleven years Full Time Ski-Instructor at Hunter-Mountain, NY. (Presently coaching there)...
++ Best-Time Full-Marathon: 2:57 Montreal-International-Marathon, Montreal, PQ, Canada.

**Irony Rules**!! Back in High School I was Always picked Last in gym class, (Hated gym more than Any other subject)! And was thrown Off of Every team I Ever tried for. So I continued my education to learn about computers..
Now, Most of the computer jobs have gone overseas, I find myself "making a Living"? teaching Skiing, And have completed *33* Full Marathons! (Montreal, London, New York, Philadelphia, Boston)...
