Louis Padgug:  

I was born on Ellington Air Force Base in Houston, Texas but grew up mostly in Bossier City, Louisiana and Sacramento, California. I lived just outside of Tachikawa Air Base near Tokyo, Japan from 1969-1971. While there, I was a Freshman and Sophomore at Yamato High School. After I graduated from Hiram Johnson High School in Sacramento, California, I enlisted in the Air Force where I processed and printed aerial reconnaissance film. I was stationed at Shaw AFB, South Carolina for about 17 months and then I was stationed at Zweibrucken AFB, Germany from 1975 to 1977. After the Air Force, I received a B A degree in Geography from California State University, Sacramento. I retired at age 51 from the County of Sacramento in March, 2007 with 28 years of service.
