Louis's Story
After graduation, I worked in a gas station doing oil changes, pumping gas, changing tires and running road service calls. In 1973, I became Assistant Service Manager at Cross County Chrysler Plymouth. Also from 1971 untill 1976, I was involved in drag racing. I was a partner in a AA/Gas dragster. We raced it a few times at National Trail Raceway in Columbus, Ohio; but never really got competitive due to financial constraints. In 1980, I moved to San Diego, where I got into the Cable TV business as a Direct Sales Rep with Cox Cable...Expand for more
in 1984.
In 1990, I moved to South Carolina, where I am a Direct Sales Rep for Time Warner Cable for almost 25 years. In January of 2015, they cleaned house of highly tenured people, including myself. So, late that January, I got a job in the Parts Department at DodgeLand of Columbia. I do inside and outside Sales.
I continue to enjoy watching drag racing in person or on tv. I also have two antique cars. one is my Dad's 1971 Plymouth Duster, 318 cu.in. and a 1968 Dodge Dart GTS 340 cu.in, which I am currently freshening up.
