I have just retired after teaching for 39 years in Miami which I totally enjoyed. While I mostly taught high school English, I also taught cinematography - the study of film - and philosophy. Now my husband and I are beginnning all of the house improvement projects we postponed while I was grading papers and preparing lessons. I have a book club which I started in 1992 - the month after Hurricane Andrew. I love reading, movies, knitting hats, and sewing. I am still mastering cooking. I also love to snorkel. My husband and I just completed a wonderful cruise of the South Pacific where I learned underwater photography, a definite challenge. I have fond memories of Colorado and have returned a few times to ski. But I must admit I get lost in C Springs...what happened to the small town I remember?
