Louise's Story
After college and law school, I moved to LA to practice law. I did a stint with a humongous downtown law firm, got some great training and eventually went out on my own. I now practice transactional entertainment law, mostly growing out of rights-related in areas like international film distribution and finance and representation of writers, producers, comic book publishers, writer and artists and videogames developers and designers. It keeps me out of trouble most of the time and allows me to travel a lot...Expand for more
, which is something I really enjoy. For the past 2 years, I've gone to the Cannes Film Festival. It's fabulous, but a lot more hard work and a lot less glamorous than it sounds. Over the years, I've also spent time traveling in Peru & Bolivia (visiting our exchange student Sandra Gallardo), Argentina, China (in 1980), Africa (Botswana and Zimbabwe in 2000), Southeast Asia (including Angkor Wat and an orangutan sanctuary in Borneo) and much of Europe, but I still have a lot of places on my "must see" list.
