Lucille's Story
I left high school at the end of my junior year. Married Jim Larick, had two children, moved to Berkeley.
We divorced after nine years.
I began a small custom sewing business making mountaineering equipment.
In 1977 I remarried Bob Shotland and had another baby. In 1980 I decided to shed my blue ...Expand for more
collar status and go to college.
I graduated in 1984 with a degree in computer science after taking one year off in the middle of college to work for IBM through the UC Engineering School's Coop program.
Ten years ago I moved to Portland, Oregon.
I prefer to be called Cele rather than Lucille.
