t Andrews Air Force Base as a Secretary. After that, I became a Management Analyst for the Air Force, while mentoring high school and college students. I've been a contractor for Department of Defense. Military I went into the military in March of 1986. I went through basic training. My first experience was when about a week after we arrived and a bee was buzzing in my face. I swatted him and was told that I would salute everything and everyone for the next two hours. After I got through that, I went to Tech School at Sheppard Air Force Base where the jack rabbits were as big as cats and dogs. I spent 10 days in the field for medical training and ended up with two crazy young men who got us sprayed by a skunk because they wanted to take a short-cut and get us back to base camp before everyone else. I served 8 years in the military. I spent three years in Madrid, Spain. I was on temporary duty in Germany, England, Hawaii, Greece, Turkey and Italy. While stationed in Spain, I was asked to guard this man who was prior military and his passport had expired. He was brought to Madrid until the medical plane was ready to take him to Germany and then to the States. Well, he made a mess in the hospital in Madrid. They had us remove him from there. We got him to the hospital in Torrejon where I had to watch him. We then had to escort him back to the States. That was the worst babysitting job I ever had.
