Our class of 1971 went through a lot: token integration in elementary school, first 9th grade to move into high school building (remember the “dairy barns?”), first class to allow girls to wear pants (bell bottoms!), 12th grade racial strife with cancelled prom and after-school sports, anti-war political involvement for some of us pseudo-hippies, and more. But we somehow survived it all, didn’t we?
High School was a mixed bag of both good and bad memories. But it was never dull!
