Life
My Spouse
Richard - to whom I have been married to since 1982 , is a wonderful, caring, and loving husband. He retired after working at Pratt & Whitney for 37 years. It has been wonderful seven years having him taking care of home, cooking, etc.....He enjoys cooking and I am blessed to have husband who cooks for me when I am late from work.
My Pets
Booties, our cat , is the only person in the house who could hear and helped us one time when my husband broke his ankle at the bottom of the stairs while we all were sound asleep in the middle of the night. We also added another cat , Nalu, to keep Booties company.
My Kids
Son, 21 years old, is a seinor at the Universit...Expand for more
y of Connecticut majoring in Special Education and was a senator on Undergraduate Student Government and on track team. Daughter,18 yrs old and is currently attending California State University at Northridge as a freshman. She has an interest in family literacy.
My Job
After many years of teaching, I became an assistant principal in the elementary department five years ago and love it so much. It has been wonderful working at the first school for the deaf in the country. I also still very active in many organizations and serve on various advisory boards...One most important involvement is being a chairperson of the board- Connecticut Commission on the Deaf and Hearing Impaired.
