Lupe's Story

Life What can I say? Life has been very challenging but it has had much purpose. It's been a real ride- But with a destination! I was married for 7 grueling years and chose not to bear any children with Mr. Wrong. After seven years I decided to dump him. And am very much enjoying a very fulfilling single life again. I do have a baby named Beau, he's a precious little Shihtzu. I also had a very darling Persian Himalayan male cat named Muffin. And then there is Sheldon, my cute little Sakata tortoise. And have also adopted a cute Boxer. They really give unconditional and loyal love... So much more reliable than some humans I have encountered. I have been a writer now for over (3)three decades! I am very much published and accomplished in my field of endeavor. Although I had obtained my state license as an Insurance Agent/Broker and worked in the Insurance Property and Casualty department for several years, all along I remained true to my real calling... as a Writer! I have been ackowledged for my contribution to modern society by Who's Who in America, Who's Who in The World, Who's Who Among American Women and Who's Who Among Emerging Leaders, and will be included in 2010 edition of W.W. in Finance and Business. I have obtained my Copyrights for my compilation of lyrics and poetry titled Songs of An Avantgarde which are works currently in progress. I have recently signed a Songwriting Contract with Paramount and they are currently working on my promoting my Demo on one of those very songs from this compilation. One of my poems has just recieved the Editor's Choice Award and has been published in Timeless Voices and submitted to Copyright Library of Congress. I hope all my former classmates the same level of fortune! May you all reach the degree of success that you really deserve. Much love...and remember to "Stop and Hear the MUSIC!" And remember: "Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take; but by the moments that take our breath away!" I always wanted to be a STAR when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a CRAZY idea. As it turns out, they were WRONG!. LADY SINGS THE BLUES AWAY...But I thought you knew that already. If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have Excellent MENTORS, Organization, and independen...Expand for more
ce to be able to deal with the day-to-day. As the song goes..."I never found anyone to fulfill the need in me and so I learned to depend on ME!" The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Tony Benitez, because he was my first real boyfriend. I hope he is doing okay. I am totally addicted to Tony D'Nozzo on NCIS....I may be obsessed a little. (Nothing unhealthy.) And I am all into MUSIC. I have known true love once and tragically his life was cut short... But I have learned to deal with the disillusion... I am very guarded now. The few good teachers I am eternally grateful for were from St. Andrews Elementary. They were skillful, dedicated and essential to my early development. They are Miss Lori Vaighn, Miss Pasquerella, Miss Cynthia Smith.... Many "Thank Yous!" My current age is 40. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be wiser. I was so completely right... I would not like to be living in any different place and time other than MY NOW. I am so proud to be living during these extra-ordinary times in history. For I happen to have come along in the right place and the right time to make a difference! Not to mention, to be blessed with ALL THE RIGHT FRIENDS IN THE RIGHT PLACES is truly remarkable! This happens only once in a "Blue Moon". My work here is nowhere done. I have only just begun... I have so many more collaborations in mind... Hmmm, could it be you? My best friend would tell you I'm humble, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as conceited.. I have never been one to mention labels or follow fads...I got to keep it real. I like to dress for success just as well as the next gal though. I have never been subjected to doing any weird jobs...thank goodness...I have an image to maintain! If I had one big do-over what would I do differently, huh... I know I would never have walked up the alter if I had listened to my better judgement! I learned now...always pay attention to your gutt feeling. Word to the wise! I hope old friends would remember me- period! And not for anything infamous I may have done or not done while I was in school. If I won $100 million, I'd give 40% of it to charities, then spend the rest on a mansion, a jaguar and save the rest for travel.
