Lurell's Story

Lurell is from Sixes, Oregon, is widowed. Lurell's schools include Grand County High School. later attended College of eastern utah. Lurell works(ed) at Eddie's Roaring Twenties/ Grants, New Mexico,Worked as head of the art department of the Sun-advocate newspaper in Price, Utah. Became a writer-photographer for that paper, and had four columns in addition to layout and design., Self-Employed. Started a business of window painting. me in pocket change. I taught calligraphy and genealogy for the Community College. Also taught 3rd, 4rth, 5th and 6th graders calligraphy so the teachers could actually read their cursive! I sang with Dad until I married, then sang country and western and folk music from 1962 til 1971...Retired to raise my two kids...only sing at community functions and at Church. I've worked in the Family History Center in Port Orford since 1980. as of August 5, 2020, survived the Corona Virus...stay safe!
