About a year after I graduated from William Smith I met an awesome guy. We dated, got pregnant, moved in together and then got married after our daughter came along. Times were really freaking hard in Denver back then!!
After working like dogs for a few years we left Colorado. We moved to Arizona, had a son a year later and bought a house. Then after a few years my husband Rob got a great job offer and we moved to Salt Lake City. WOW Culture SHOCK for this city girl who grew up in a VERY diverse neighborhood, in Aurora, let me tell you!
We lived in SLC for a few years and then we moved to Southern Colorado. LOVED it there but after several years we decided to move back to SLC.
We have been in SLC since 96 and watched more NON Utahans move into the city making it a little easier to deal with. The kids grew up....Da...Expand for more
ughter get married in 07 and our Son moved up to Washington with his girlfriend last fall.
So now my husband and I are enjoying being empty nesters. We have always loved to travel and over the last ten years we have seen some amazing places. Celebrated our 25th anniversary last fall in Friday Harbor, San Juan Island in the Puget Sound. It was amazing! (Two hours northeast of Seattle, close to BC Canada)
We are hoping to retire in Hawaii one day and spend all day researching the Humpback Whale and possibly the Green Sea Turtle.
I would like to reconnect with some people from school, so drop a line if you knew me back then. If you remember Lisa Benton¿.her and I have kept in touch all these years. I think all others from WS I have lost touch with. They were fun times!
