Lydia's Story

Wow! Where has the time gone! After high school, I continued my education at UTEP and got a Bachelor of Science in Education. I started teaching for Ysleta District. I have a son, John and daughter, Jessica, both are married. I am a grandma with four beautiful grandsons, all ranging from 6 years to eight years.I love being a grandma. I have been single for a while. Along the way I furthered my education and received a Master Degree in Education at Lesley College. Principal at Bel Air High School in El Paso. Currently I am Assistant Principal at Eastwood High School. I do not plan to retire anytime soon, I love my job!! Really busy!! Looking forward to a great 2014! I have one dog, Sophie and we take walks in the evening. When I am not working I spend my time with family, going out with friends to dinner, movie, concerts, museums, and love to work on my yard!! I love to travel and have been to Alaska, Victoria and Vancouver, Canada, Cancun, Puerto Rico, New York, Boston, Miami, Orlando, most of Texas, San Francisco, San Diego, Santa Barbara, Portland, Maine, Providence, Rhode Island and New Orleans! That about sums it up!
