Lydia's Story

I am proud to be from El Centro, California but have lived in San Diego since 1983. The schools I attended include Central Union High School, McKinley Elementary School, Kennedy Middle School. I graduated from Imperial Valley College in 1982 and San Diego State University in 1984. I have worked for the City of San Diego more than 30 years. I have been married for 30 years and raised 3 great sons. Music I like include...Expand for more
Smooth Jazz, Country Western, Tex-Mex and Old School including almost any genre from the '70's. My favorite children's book is "I'll Love You Forever". I enjoy almost any sports movie. One of my favorite sayings is: "Life is about choices, make good ones, learn from the bad ones and don't repeat them." My sons heard this a lot growing up. I feel blessed for the life I have been able to live thus far. Thank you Lord.
