Lydia's Story
I moved to Lancaster in my fourth grade year. Graduated 8th grade from Del Sur. I remember Betty, Debra, Sandy, 2 Cindys', Virginia & Donna...... Attended Quartz Hill High freshmen and sophomore year only. Moved to San Francisco got married. Moved back to Lancaster then got a divorce. Then moved back to San Francisco and then to Redding. Decided to raise my 4 kids in a rural setting. Even went to Shasta Collage and took Horticulture. Went into business with a friend (Home Applinace Service), I managed the office and my freind was the service tech. Our plan was to top 50,000 with in the frist 5 years of business. Chico State, my younger son went into show business at age 19 and my youngest daughter teaches autistic kids befor they inter kindergarden. Sold the house. sold the business.
Bought a motorhome travaled for 10 months. Went to Canada and stayed on the gulf coast of TX though the winter of 92. Then in Feb. of 93 went New Orleans for Mardi Gras. My husband and I move to Morro Bay (central coast). My husband at age 50 decided to have a career with the Dept. of Corrections. I worked at Rite Aid Pharmacy. At age 62 my husband pasted away of cancer in 06. he was 10 years older than I. To this date I have 8 grandchildern. I've decided it's to expensive to retire in CA. so I bought a house in the country of Belize in Jan. 08. Just trying to get in touch with a few people befor I leave.
