Lydia's Story
Life
1971, year of the Sylmar earthquake, I moved to California. Everyone said I was crazy but I figure you go when your time comes. I am single; I enjoy the freedom to be spontaneous; come and go as I please. 1994, Northridge earthquake - I was at the epicenter, my home and place of employment were condemned. I had to relocate home and employment - 9 months later I moved back to Northridge. Still here...
I love to travel; usually looking for places to see. Trained as a graphic artist in my free time I am working on a digital/interactive photo CD of family pictures. Rare one of a kind photos - it's so exciting! I have wondered what my life would have been if I had remained in Chicago. If I had to do over the only thing I would change would be to moved to California sooner.

2nd trip - Rome. It included a trip to Pompeii, it was
amazing.
3rd trip - Kyoto, Japan. Not bombed during WWII
so the buildings are originals.
4th trip - East Coast. Going thru Philadelphia,
Lancaster, Valley Forge, PA. Next - Richmond,
VA, including Williamsberg and Jamestown,
Washington, D.C. - Everyone should spend a
week there. Orlando - Kennedy Space Center
and Disney World. I loved KSC.
Future Trips: Greece, Peru, Argentina, Alaska, China
Would love to see Mrs. Lynda Dennis, she is the one who inspired me to move to California and become independent. I owe it to her.
