Lydona's Story
I married after junior year then divorced nine years later. I had four children , two died at birth. I remarried in 1983 to Joseph Atchley he is Harley and Eulalia's younger brother. he graduated in 1978. We moved to Whitefield, Oklahoma, about 50 miles west of Fort Smith Arkansas. I went to college online and recieved a tax prepares degree and BHS. in accounting. I worked as a chef for a while in cafes, truck stops, and waited tables. I now write books . I ran a small publishing firm till I was diagnosed with MS. and could not do the job anymore. I tutor some high school students in writing and math. I help Joe with our art business, we both are artist and sell paintings and sketches. We travel alot, when we can and I believe my best memory is the week we spent in New York City, and Memphis Tennessee. I love the ocean two of my grandchildren live in Pan...Expand for more
ama Beach City, Florida. I love it there. I have been published in many poetry anthologies and named the Poet of the year by the Poetry Society of America and the International Poets society. awarded the Editors Choice Award for seven of my entries. I am working on my fifth book and have ten in the works. I am working with a co writer on music for a gospel album They write the music and I the lyrics. Joe and I have been married for 25 years, I have two daughters and four grandchildren ages 18 to 12 and another on the way and my first great grand daughter,born July 15th . I have a very full and blessed life and live everyday to the fullest. I wish for everyone the blessings and love I have known since having my children and marrying Joe. Joe and I had twin daughters in 1992 they both died 2 hours after birth, they were just to early and could not survive.
